Hospital Visit

Yesterday, I was having some contractions about 30 minutes apart, but they made me feel like I needed to push. So, I called the nurse and she told me to go to the hospital to be checked out just incase(it was after doctor hours when she returned my call). They hooked me up to the fetal heart monitor and the contractions monitor. They said Rylan's heart rate was "text book" baby. Which is very comforting. I was having contractions, so they gave me a shot to stop them. The nurse checked to see if I was dialated. I am dialated to a 1, 30% effaced, and baby is at -2 station. I was concerned because I have never been dialated before being admitted to the hospital for real labor. The doctor reassured me that all of this is normal for a 4th pregnancy at 34 weeks. Rylan is very low, so I am and will continue to have alot of pressure & pains until she is born. I have my regular ultrasound & doc appointment on Thursday. I will update again then. I have not been put on any restrictions at this time. I am still, randomly, feeling the urge to push. I am just sitting and resting until it passes.

On a different note, Jadyn started preschool yesterday at the church. She had an awesome day! One of her preschool teachers is also one of her Sunday School teachers. And she already knew 2 of the kids in her class. It is so fun to watch her be so excited about preschool. She said she wants to go everyday! Her first soccer game for the fall is Sat. She is back with the Power Pups now. She is, of course, very excited about soccer too!

Cameron is a little dissappointed that he is not in preschool. Honestly, I didnt think he would want to go. But it was nice yesterday spending time with just him for a while.

Janna - thanks for updating us on what is going on. We are definitely praying for you and little Rylan. Be comforted to know that the Lord has Rylan's birthday already picked out and she won't come a day sooner! We love you guys.. let us know if we can do anything else (besides praying that is!). Love, Steph
